Balanced sifts a longer stream so every gesture appears rather than three of one and none of another. Because the screen ruling is expressed as cells across the long edge rather than in lines per inch, the rosette in these small cells is the same rosette as in a full-resolution export — which the parent series' pixel-grid dither could never have managed.
